AC-HK1 Hounsfield Tensometer Conversion Kit

Many Hounsfield Tensometers are either still in use or have been put into storage. These small hand-operated or motor-driven tensile testers use a mercury filled capillary tube to provide a means of force display. Mercury is today recognised as an undesirable substance to use in such applications due to health hazards. The A.C.S. Hounsfield Conversion Kit replaces the mercury column with an electronic load cell and AC-9600 digital indicator. The indicator provides digital peak-hold of maximum tensile force and has the option of serial or x-y recorder output.
